Manager, Circular Services Operations
Location: Aurora, CO
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 annually
Great outdoor gear is made to last. But lasting doesn't happen by accident. It takes thoughtful design, skilled hands, smart systems, and a commitment to finding value in what others might overlook.
At Fenix Outdoor, we believe a product's story shouldn't end when it needs a repair, finds its way back to us, or is ready for a new owner. We're looking for a curious, resourceful, and hands-on Manager, Circular Services Operations to help us bring that belief to life.
In this role, you'll lead the people, processes, and programs that give our products a longer life, from warranty and repair services to pre-loved gear, refurbishment, and product returns and recovery. You'll build efficient, scalable operations, develop a talented team, and turn our commitment to circularity into meaningful, measurable action.
If you're an operational problem-solver who loves making systems better, developing people, and finding practical ways to reduce waste, this is your opportunity to make a difference for our customers, our business, and the places we love to explore.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead Circular Services Operations
Oversee day-to-day operations across Warranty, Repair, Pre-Loved, Parts Inventory, and Product Returns and Recovery programs
Develop strategies and scalable processes that extend product life through repair, reuse, refurbishment, resale, and recycling
Establish service standards and workflows that balance operational efficiency, quality, and a great customer experience
Guide the evolution of trade-in, take-back, and product recovery initiatives
Streamline Product Returns, Recovery & Reverse Logistics
Manage how returned products are received, inspected, graded, repaired, refurbished, and returned to use or responsibly recovered
Partner with Distribution, Transportation, Customer Service, Retail, and E-commerce teams to create seamless product flows
Identify opportunities to improve recovery rates, reduce waste, and maximize the value of returned products
Develop processes that support material recovery and responsible recycling
Champion Quality & Customer Experience
Ensure repaired and refurbished products meet our high standards for quality, functionality, and craftsmanship
Build consistent inspection and product grading practices
Improve turnaround times, repair success rates, and customer satisfaction through thoughtful process improvements
Help customers build lasting relationships with the products they love
Drive Operational & Financial Performance
Manage labor planning, operating expenses, and parts and materials inventory
Use data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency, quality, product recovery, and financial performance
Identify and implement improvements that reduce costs, strengthen productivity, and support sustainable growth
Develop reporting that turns operational insights into clear, actionable decisions
Lead & Develop Your Team
Guide, coach, and support a team of Repair Technicians and Warranty Specialists
Build effective staffing plans, training programs, and opportunities for professional growth
Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture where curiosity and continuous improvement are encouraged
Create an environment where people feel empowered to contribute ideas, solve problems, and take pride in their work
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT
You bring:
3+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, supply chain, warranty, repair services, returns management, or a related field
Experience leading frontline operational teams and helping people grow and succeed
Strong process improvement skills and a knack for making complex workflows simpler and more effective
Analytical problem-solving abilities, with confidence using operational data, KPIs, and performance metrics to guide decisions
Experience managing budgets, labor planning, and operational resources

Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to bring people and teams together around shared goals
A degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
A genuine appreciation for quality, durability, responsible business practices, and the value of giving products a longer life
Preferred (but not required):
