At Fenix Outdoor, we’re looking for a dependable and safety-minded Forklift Operator 1 to join our Distribution Centre team. In this role, you’ll operate an Order Selector/Order Picker to manage inventory, replenish picking locations, and accurately pick products for order fulfilment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Safely operate an Order Selector/Order Picker forklift to move, store, and retrieve inventory

• Replenish product in picking and storage locations throughout the Distribution Centre

• Accurately pick products for customer order fulfillment

• Transport pallets, baskets, and products safely throughout the facility

• Inspect Order Selector equipment before use and help ensure it remains in safe operating condition

• Inspect, wear, and properly store required fall-protection equipment

• Follow established safety procedures when operating equipment and working at height

• Use RF scanners and other handheld technology to support accurate inventory movement and order picking

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Complete required equipment training and recertification as needed

• Support other Distribution Centre activities as business needs evolve

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

You bring:

• Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping, or packing experience preferred

• Previous experience operating an Order Selector/Order Picker forklift preferred

• Willingness and ability to complete required Order Selector/Order Picker and fall-protection training and certification; candidates who are already trained or certified are preferred

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• A safety-first approach to your work and awareness of warehouse safety practices

• Comfort working at height while using appropriate fall-protection equipment

• Comfort using RF scanners, handheld devices, or similar warehouse technology

• Ability to regularly stand, kneel, reach, and lift up to 22.5 kg / 50 lb

• A dependable, collaborative approach and willingness to help the team get the job done
